National Cheesecake Day 2012: Cheesecake Factory Debuts Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake, Find It Near You Here And Get Half Off Desserts [PHOTO]

Monday is National Cheesecake Day and you can celebrate this momentous (and delicious) occasion by stopping by The Cheesecake Factory, where the restaurant is debuting its Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake and slicing the prices of all their cheesecake desserts in half.

"Can you tell we're ready for the National Cheesecake Day, 7/30? :)," The Cheesecake Factory's Twitter account wrote July 26.

The tweet included a link to this story on the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake.

The Cheesecake Factory said the new dessert is a great way to celebrate National Cheesecake Day.

The national restaurant chain described the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake as "OREO® Cookies baked in our creamy Cheesecake with layers of fudge cake and OREO® Cookie mousse. Topped with a milk chocolate icing."

The half-price deal on cheesecakes during National Cheesecake Day is only valid on Monday at The Cheesecake Factory's 158 locations. Dine-in guests are limited to one half-price slice of cheesecake each, the company said.

The country, or at least the nation's Twitter users, is chomping at the bit to chomp into a slice of cheesecake to mark the occasion. "National Cheesecake Day" was trending on the micro-blogging site Monday.

"Today is National Cheesecake Day... Get a slice of cheesecake half off at Cheesecake Factory! (I know where I'm going after work!)" tweeted Carmany Phillips.

Despite it being late morning in Cincinnati, Ohio, Khaki Robinson did not let that stop her from celebrating National Cheesecake Day on Monday.

"It's National Cheesecake Day! I'm on my way to The @Cheesecake Factory!" she tweeted at 11:11 a.m. local time.

Twitter user @crunchy_F is also exciting to bite into a slice of cheesecake.

"Happy #national cheesecake day! I am in Indy and gonna score half prized cake at @cheesecakefactory woot!" she tweeted.

User @mochabree had the same idea.

"Soo it's National Cheesecake Day? I could definitely go for some@cheesecake factory cheesecake today," she wrote.
