Naya Rivera is officially a mom, but she has been keeping that a secret for a few weeks. The actress reportedly gave birth in August to a little boy.

The “Devious Maids” star has apparently been adjusting to parenthood well, along with husband Ryan Dorsey, Us Weekly reports. “Naya was born to be a mother and is doing really great so far,” an unnamed source told the website. “And Ryan has amazing paternal instincts and has been waiting on them both hand and foot.”

Rivera previously praised her husband’s efforts to help her during her pregnancy. On her blog for People, the 28-year-old wrote that he helped her with projects around the house as she went into nesting mode in her third trimester. “I spent days washing everything in the baby’s room and closet, putting together chairs, strollers, and crying to my husband that we needed a new 'vision' for the backyard,” she wrote. “Ryan was great during all of this and even got in on the nesting action himself, taking on a huge re-staining/painting project for our entire backyard.”

The actress, who is currently writing a memoir, has not revealed the name of her son. However, he might already have his first play date scheduled. Heather Morris, who played Rivera’s wife on “Glee,” said that she hopes her son Eli, 2, will spend time with Rivera’s baby.

“We've been talking about it over and over,” Morris told Entertainment Tonight in March, shortly after Rivera announced she was expecting. “I'm just excited because now my baby has a friend. We’re just stoked about it.”

Rivera and Dorsey announced their pregnancy in February. The two were married in July 2014.
