Good news, basketball fans—the first Next-Gen trailer for NBA 2K14 has arrived, and if the footage is any indication, the world’s most popular basketball video game is about to get even better.

The Next-Gen trailer features some of the first footage of the NBA 2K series’ transition to the Xbox One and Playstation 4—and the images certainly do not disappoint. Miami Heat star LeBron James is featured throughout the trailer, rendered in high definition graphics that can only be described as breathtaking.

In a rematch of the 2012 NBA Finals, James and his Heat teammates take the floor alongside archrival Kevin Durant and his Oklahoma City Thunder, complete with ultra-realistic lighting and player mannerisms. The trailer also features appearances by Houston Rockets star James Harden, future NBA Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, and former league MVP Derrick Rose. The inclusion of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” just adds to the joy.

Now, we know what you’re thinking—sure, the footage from the NBA 2K14 trailer is incredible, but will those graphics translate to actual gameplay? According to the folks at 2K, what you see in the trailer is what you’ll get. A message on the bottom of the trailer notes that the video features “actual Playstation 4 NBA 2K14 game footage with variable camera angles.”

Think we’re overhyping the footage? We’ve included the first NBA 2K14 Next-Gen trailer above.

NBA 2K14 will be available for the Xbox One launch on Nov. 22, and for the PlayStation 4 launch on Nov. 15. The game is already available for current-generation video game systems.

2K Games is a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ:TTWO), an American publisher and developer of video games.
