NBC will broadcast the 2014 Winter Games in Russia, the 2016 Summer Games in Rio, the 2018 Winter Games (site undecided) and the 2020 Summer Games (site undecided). The package is believed to be worth more than $4 billion, according to the Associated Press.

ESPN and Fox were also bidding for the TV rights.

NBC has broadcast the Olympics since 1988.
