Get ready “NCIS” fans: The CBS show is ending Season 14 on a major cliff-hanger.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Season 14 finale will see Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team head to Paraguay on a mission. During this mission, the leader makes a life-changing decision that will affect three members of his team and this leads to episode 24 ending on a major cliff-hanger. Executive producer George Schenck said, “The finale is a big action episode.” Co-executive producer Frank Cardea later said, “And you will not want to miss the last five minutes.” Hmm.

The “NCIS” Season 14 finale is titled “Rendezvous.” The official synopsis of this episode has yet to be released by CBS.

Meanwhile, the long-running procedural is currently on a break. The last aired episode, “One Book, Two Covers,” saw a murder investigation being tied to a past undercover operation undertaken by Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) several years ago. He used to work for a dirt bike gang back in the day. A recent murder points to the same gang. The case became personal for the agent.

The next episode, titled “Beastmaster,” airs on Tuesday, May 2 in which NCIS partner up with Mounted Police Sergeant May Dawson (Elisabeth Röhm) to solve a string of crimes. According to the synopsis of episode 22 on TVGuide, after a marine sergeant is found dead in a national park, Gibbs and his team joins forces with a Mounted Police Sergeant in order to solve a slew of related crimes in the park.

Meanwhile, Emily Wickersham, who plays Ellie Bishop, and Jennifer Esposito, who plays Alex Quinn, frequently goof around on set. Watch a couple of funny videos with the actresses having fun in between takes below:

“NCIS” returns on Tuesday, May 2 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS. The season finale airs on May 16.
