Rick (Andrew Lincoln, left) thought he killed the leader of the Saviors on “The Walking Dead.” He was wrong. AMC

Welcome to the world of “The Walking Dead,” Negan! Fans of Robert Kirkman’s graphic novels have anxiously been awaiting the arrival of the big bad comic book villain, and a leaked promo video from the Season 6 finale gives the first taste of what’s to come.

The video, which was somehow released online ahead of the penultimate episode of Season 6, teases a showdown between Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group and the Saviors. Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) can be seen behind the wheel of the RV with Rick as his passenger. It’s not clear where they’re headed, but the Saviors are blocking their route.

“We can make a deal,” Rick says. “Right here, right now.”

The Saviors appear to have someone from Alexandria hostage on the ground, but they’re not interested in making a deal.

“Sorry, we don’t negotiate,” one of the men responds.

What comes next is a series of clips teasing an action-packed episode full of walkers and other threats — including the introduction of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Fans don’t get to see the villain’s face, but he does speak.

“Hi,” he says, the camera focusing in on a bat covered in barbed wire. “I’m Negan.”

The bat is also the first look that “Walking Dead” viewers have of Negan’s beloved weapon, which he affectionately named Lucille. In the comics, Negan uses Lucille to brutally beat a fan-favorite character to death. It’s unknown if that character will meet the same fate on-screen, but previously leaked details from the finale hint that episode 16 will leave off with a serious cliffhanger.

The video has since been removed, but check out some photos below:

“The Walking Dead” Season 6 finale will air on AMC Sunday, April 3, at 9 p.m. EDT. Episode 15 will air this Sunday, March 27, at 9 p.m. EDT.
