Financials: Mar. Bonds are currently 1'04 higher at 142'21 and the 10 Yr. Notes 18 higher at 131'11. Once again Greek debt is dominating the news in a negative fashion causing yet another flight to safety. Of note: Bonds held support of 140'16 with yesterday's low of 140'23. The long 5 Yr. Note/ short 10 Yr. Note is trading at 7'23 premium the 10 Yr. Note. If the market allows I am once again going to try this spread, this time at 8'02 premium the 10 Yr. Note. Grains: Yesterday Mar. Beans closed 4'0 lower at 1227'4, Mar. Corn 5'4 lower at 637'0 and Mar. Wheat 14'6 lower at 646'0. Over night Beans were 9'4 lower, Corn 4'0 and Wheat 7'6 lower. Yesterday Mar. Corn made a new recent high at 652'4 only to close lower. This could indicate a further sell off. Support is currently the 623'0 level, an area where I'm willing to try the long side of the market. Cattle: Yesterday Apr. LC closed 60 lower at 128.20 and Mar. FC 15 lower at 155.15. these markets are currently about 50 points lower. For those of you whose standard unit is multiple contracts, I recommend a partial short position. A trade below 126.50 in Apr. LC could generate a sell signal. Silver: Metals are lower as a result of a strong Dollar this morning with Mar. Silver 50 cents lower at 33.40 and Apr. Gold 30.00 lower at 1711.00. I will once again be looking to put on long biased positions (futures, options, combinations, etc.) below 32.60 in Silver and below 1690.00 in Gold. S&P's: Mar. S&P's are currently 11.00 lower at 1336.00 on market concerns over Greek debt. Near term support remains at 1330.00 wih longer term support in the 1317.00-1320.00 area. Yesterday's high in the 1352.00 area could prove to be strong resistance. I am on the sidelines coming in this morning. Currencies: As of this writing the Mar. Euro is trading 110 lower at 1.3180, the Swiss 84 lower at 1.0891, the Yen11 lower at 1.2870 and the Pound 70 lower at 1.5752. We remain long out of the money puts. I prefer the short side fo the market particularly in the Euro and the Yen. Resistance remains in the 1.3400 area in the Euro (yesterday's high 1.3325) with support at 1.2940.
