Last month, rumors spread that NeNe Leakes would be fired from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” after requesting a higher salary. Now, tabloids are claiming that she is once again demanding more money from Bravo. The network reportedly lowered her pay to $500,000 per season after scenes with her husband Gregg did not do well in ratings.

“NeNe balked at the idea of going part-time and said she would quit first. If she wants the same pay, Bravo will require that she shoot more with the other ladies,” a source told RumorFix.

In May, the National Enquirer claimed the 46-year-old already makes $1 million a season, but wants her salary upped since she is the “star” of the show. “NeNe thinks she is a bigger star now, due to a recurring role on ‘Glee’ and the now-canceled sitcom ‘The New Normal,’” an insider said. Leakes had a minor recurring role on “Glee” in 2013 and made her final appearance in 2014. “The New Normal” was canceled after one season.

Leakes, who has been on "RHOA" for all six seasons, also is said to have become a diva on set. “Her ego is out of control, but she is wrong if she thinks Bravo will give her more money,” the source added before saying that Leakes “is playing Russian roulette and may lose a very good payday.”

However, it seems Leakes is staying with the cast, after RumorFix reached out to a friend of hers who says the rumors about her quitting are false.

Still, it seems she may be unhappy with “RHOA” as Leakes tweeted a cryptic message on Twitter last month. “Never continue n a job u don’t enjoy! Follow ur passion & success will follow u!” she wrote.

For the time being, though, the entire cast will stay the same for Season 7. Filming will begin soon, and the new season looks likely to premiere in November, E! reports.
