Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) is ready for a brand new adventure! The childlike-character, who last appeared in the 1988 flick “Big Top Pee-wee,” will return to his movie-star roots in the Netflix Original Film “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.”

Fans of the red bowtie-sporting star were given a first look at the upcoming series when a trailer for the anticipated installment, co-produced by Reubens and "Trainwreck" producer Judd Apatow, was released on Tuesday. In the 39-second teaser, viewers can see Pee-wee is up to his same-old shenanigans — like creating home-made machines that help him get out of bed in the morning and dressed. But there is one thing noticeably different about the laughing explorer …

In the promo video, audiences can notice that Pee-wee swapped out his beloved red bike for a car. But perhaps the reason why Pee-wee’s iconic beach cruiser is missing in action is because he needed a vehicle that was more fitting to take him on his biggest adventure yet: an epic vacation.

According to the synopsis of the film, which was written by Reubens and “Arrested Development” writer Paul Rust, Pee-wee will meet a “mysterious stranger” in “Pee-wee's Big Holiday” that will inspire him to pack his bags for his “first-ever holiday.”

But who could Pee-wee’s secretive new friend be? Well, it was revealed that a slew of Hollywood stars will appear in the flick — all whom are possible of giving Pee-wee the push he needs to hit the road.

In addition to starring Ruebens, the Netflix installment will also feature “Magic Mike” actor Joe Manganiello, “Stalker” star Jessica Pohly, “Arrested Development” actress Alia Shawkat and Stephanie Beatriz from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

“Pee-wee’s Big Holiday” will first premiere at SXSW in March before the forthcoming film streams on Netflix on Friday, March 18.
