The female cast of rthe new “Ghostbusters,” -- Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones -- posed with a number of patients during a recent visit to Tufts Medical Center. The photos of their visit appeared on Medical Center’s Facebook page where they are dressed in their Ghostbusters costumes.

All four actresses are dressed in brown jumpsuits with reflective stripes on the top and the bottom and carrying proton packs on their back. In another photo, they can be seen standing around a patient resting on his bed who appears to be holding the Neutrino Wand and is smiling.

Ghostbusters is being shot in Boston and will see Wiig in the role of Erin Gilbert and McCarthy as Abby Yates. McKinnon plays the role of Jillian Holtzmann and Jones plays Patty Tolan. Paul Feig is directing the film and according to him it will be an origin story but with new dynamics.

“For me there’s so many ways I can go with this because there are so many funny women that’s going to be the hardest thing to narrow down is who to put in. I’ve got a lot of ideas on that but nobody set in stone. That’s part of the fun for me is figuring out what’s the best combo, what’s going to be relevant and fun. Bottom line: I just want the best, funniest cast,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

Feig has written the screenplay of the film along with Katie Dippold based on the characters created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. Chris Hemsworth will also be in the film in the role of receptionist. The film opens July 22.
