Welcome to December!

The first day of the month happens to also be the first Friday of the month, which means that the new music must be doubly as good.

Though it’s now the holiday season, there’s still plenty of great new music out that isn’t holiday-themed.

Here are 10 of those tracks that you should be checking out on this New Music Friday.

Miguel - “Banana Clip”

The R&B artist released his fourth studio album, “War & Leisure,” on Friday and its 12 songs of everything we’ve come to love from Miguel - smooth, interesting, fun and unique music. This song especially has all of those qualities and more. Another song to mention is “City of Angels,” which shows off a bit more of his rocker side and has a bit of a Lenny Kravitz feel.

Louis Tomlinson - “Miss You”

The singer’s follow-up to “Back to You” is a solo track with no feature artists around and it shows that he can make a pop song work all on his own. Though the verses are are okay enough to listen to, it’s the chorus and the bridge that really kick this song up a bit.

Danielle Bradbery - “Red Wine + White Couch”

“The Voice” winner released her second album today, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met,” and the 10-song collection features a slew of lovely country-pop tunes, with this one really standing out. It has that great crossover genre sound, while featuring relatable lyrics and a catchy melody.

G-Eazy & Halsey - “Him & I”

This collaboration is the fire that everyone thought it would be when the duo first announced it. Halsey’s hauntingly beautiful vocals both perfectly match with and clash against G-Eazy’s sound, creating one great track.

Andy Grammer - “Grow” and “Always”

The pop-rock singer dropped his new album, “The Good Parts,” today and it’s the perfect collection of tracks that we expected it to be from his singles and from listening to his last two albums. These two songs are ones that definitely stand out and show off all of his musical strengths, though his single “Fresh Eyes” is still one that more should be listening to, as well.

Bohnes - “My Friends (Acoustic)”

Haven’t heard of this artist before? Perhaps you know him by his real name, Alexander DeLeon, or the top-notch band he used to front, The Cab. Either way, you’re about to get to know him now. He first came on the scene with the name Bohnes a couple of years ago, but he only recently started to put out music under the name. That said, it was worth the wait for music as beautiful, catchy and therapeutic as this one and the other songs he’s put out.

Baby Ariel - “Aww”

This is the first single from the 17-year-old singer, who got her start on social media app Musical.ly and it’s the perfect track to kick off her original music. It’s fun, catchy, relatable and has a beat that’ll make it hard for you to not move your head along with it.

PRETTYMUCH feat. French Montana - “No More”

Every song this group puts out is just another piece of evidence that their debut album is about to be a masterpiece of pop music.

Jax Jones feat. Ina Wroldsen - “Breathe”

If you’re looking for a new fun song to pump up your weekend, that has lyrics that you’ll relate to and want to sing along with, then this is the new song for you.

Sasha Sloan - “Runaway”

Pay attention to this one. Even if you don’t take our word for it, one listen to Sloan’s voice on this song and it’ll be demanding your attention, but in a soft, pretty, commanding way.
