Don’t let your playlist get stale. Not when there’s so much amazing music out there. More and more of it every week. Let us help out a bit.

Since it’s Friday, we’re back at it again with a list of artists who are back at it again with new music.

Essentially, these are the new songs that you need to hear immediately because they’ll make your weekend, and life, that much better.

Sam Smith – “Too Good At Goodbyes”

It’s been a long two years without Sam Smith music, only proving that he really is too good at goodbyes. But, please, Smith, don’t go away again. This new song is brilliant and keeps with the smooth, chills-inducing sound from him that we love, all while adding that bit of newness to keep it fresh.

Demi Lovato – “You Don’t Do It For Me Anymore”

Someone might not do it for Lovato anymore, but every song of hers will always do it for us. She can do no wrong. And as she keeps releasing songs of her upcoming album, she’s only continuing to prove that and this new, emotional pop-ballad is further proof of that. Her voice can fit any style, though Demi Lovato is a style all its own.

Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso feat. Florida Georgia Line and Watt – “Let Me Go”

It’s like this fine group of artists got together and just decided to mess with everyone by combining their talents to make one massive, addictive track. That’s definitely what happened and it completely worked. Steinfeld’s voice falling into that of the Florida Georgia Line men’s vocals is a beautiful thing.

Loote – “Out Of My Head”

This second single from Loote just proved what I already figured, which was that their phenomenal debut single “High Without Your Love” was not a fluke and they really are just that good. Now two times in a row, the pop duo has created music that you actually won’t be able to get of your head. The only hope is that their debut album isn’t far away. For now, we’re fine with just these two songs, though.

SZA – “Quicksand”

As soon as the track starts, you can’t help but immediately get into it. SZA’s tune, off of the new soundtrack for HBO’s series “Insecure,” is the kind of song that makes you happy the artist chose to make music for a living, therefore allowing you to have this song in your life. It’s just fun and funky. The beat is perfect and her voice has that joyous-rasp sound. You’ll get lost in it all like quicksand.

R3hab & Quintino – “I Just Can’t”

The Dutch DJs have worked together in the past, but this time they outdid themselves. The track is pure fire and will make you say, “I just can’t stop listening.” It combines the sweetness of calm beats with the desire to go all-out when the time is right. They got the timing right during every second of the song.

Thomas Rhett – “Leave Right Now”

Rhett’s new album, “Life Changes,” is out and this song is most definitely one of the must-listens off of it. After listening to it once, it’ll make you always want to leave whatever you’re doing just so you can listen to it again. It’s a classic country-pop tune that draws you and fills you up with pure fun and simply makes you smile.

ARTY – “Supposed To Be”

It doesn’t matter what you’re supposed to be doing right now, what you should actually be doing is listening to this song and adding it to whatever new playlist you’re making. His voice is enough to make it worthwhile, but then ARTY’s melodies in this song go and make it that much better.

SoMo – “Friends”

Clearly his goal is to never let us get out of the SoMo cycle he put us in when he released “For You” last week because now he’s back with his new song “Friends” and it’s fairly different from songs that he’s previously released. His voice is a bit deeper in parts, it has a lot more production and it’s an introduction to an additional style that he’s playing with. As someone who’s used to switching things up every week on YouTube, it makes sense that he’s want to mess around with his own originals. And we’ll be right here to listen to it all.

Belle Mt – “Hollow”

Soft and sweet. Emotional and raw. Calm, but demanding. Belle Mt’s new single is what “New Music Friday” is really about. It’s about listening to not just new music from artists you’ve most likely heard of, but also from artists that you’re just now being introduced to. Whether you’ve heard of Belle Mt before or not, now you have and that’s a very good thing.
