Organizing for America released a television ad Thursday that urged voters to pressure Congress into approving President Barack Obama's $3.6 trillion budget.

In the ad, a narrator says, Thousands are going door-to-door as part of Organizing for America, gathering support for President Obama's plan to invest in America's future. You can help, too. Call Congress and tell them to support President Obama's budget plan to get our economy moving again.

OFA spokeswoman Natalie Wyeth said the ad is just one of the many tools we'll provide our supporters with, to help them make their voices heard and send a strong signal to Washington that the time for change is now.

The ad is scheduled to run nationally on cable stations, mainly MSNBC and CNN.

President Obama has been pushing hard for his budget in recent days, including holding a nationally televised press conference in prime time earlier in the week.

This budget is inseparable from this recovery, Obama said during his Tuesday press conference. It is what lays the foundation for a secure and lasting prosperity.
