Amazon will host its Year-End Deals event for New Year's Day with up to 70 percent off clothing and accessories, up to 60 percent off select electronics and 50 percent off select items for the home. Sale ends January 1, 2013.

Best Buy

Best Buy is having its year-end sale and clearance event on already reduced products. For four days, shoppers can snag discounts on HDTVs, laptops, video games, memory cards, cell phone accessories, blue-ray movies and DVDs in stores and online with free shipping. Sale ends January 2, 2013.

Dillards

Dillards will have a 50 percent off clearance sale on New Year's Day with deals on discounted and clearance merchandise with pink tags in stores.

IKEA

IKEA is offering deals on BESTÅ storage units priced at 15 percent off.

Kmart

Kmart is offering its "lighten up" sale with up to $130 off exercise and workout equipment at the lowest prices of the season. Discounts also extend to activewear with up to 50 percent off Everlast sport and Athletech. The sale also includes home decor and electronics like HDTVs and clothing. Free shipping is offered on orders of $49 or more.

Kohl's

Kohl's is offering its year-end sale with 60 to 80 percent off gold clearance items like clothing, shoes, jewelry, bed and bath and home items. With the yes pass online, shoppers get 20 percent extra off when spending $100 or more using promo code "CELEBRATE." Shoppers can also get an extra 15 percent off everything in stores and online using promo code "CHEERS" until January 1, 2013. The sale ends Tuesday.

Macy's

Part of Macy's Week of Wonderful, the retailer will offer New Year's sales on clothing, accessories, home goods, furniture and more with three-day specials that extend until January 1, 2013. Bedding will be 20 to 60 percent off in the biggest white sale of the year using promo code "NYE." Macy's will also have a lingerie sale with 40 percent off select styles using promo code "BRAS" and free shipping for orders of $60 or more.

Target

Target will offer up to 60 percent off its Neiman Marcus collection with goods from designers like Rodarte, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs and Jason Wu.
