The first day of New York Fashion Week has begun, and Desigual brought a colorful explosion of prints and patterns to the runway for the debut of its Fall/Winter 2016 collection at Manhattan’s The Arc, Skylight at Moynihan Station. With celebrity guests such as Nigel Barker, “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon, J. Alexander (aka Miss J) and “Shadowhunters” actress Katherine McNamara, all eyes were glued to the dimly lit runway as models showcased the label’s latest looks.

Desigual, known for its fun and bright designs, stated the Fall/Winter 2016 collection was inspired by the vibrancy of city life and “its creative lifeblood.” Among the 37 outfits to make their way down the runway were floral and brocade turtlenecks, puffy floral-printed outerwear, bright faux-fur coats and a black-and-plaid knit cardigan. Paired with some of the outfits were vegan leather backpacks, printed sheer gloves and suede pouch bags — everything you need to take your winter gear from drab to fab in seconds.
