RTTNews - Total credit card billings in New Zealand fell 1.6% year-on-year in April, slower than a 4.8% fall in March, a report by the Reserve Bank said Thursday.

Domestic card billings dropped 2.4% in April compared to a 4.7% fall in the previous month, while overseas card billing rose 4.7%, reversing a 5.6% decline in March.

Month-on-month, total credit card billings increased 2.3% in April, in contrast to a 2.8% fall in March. Domestic credit card billings grew 2.4%, while overseas card billings rose 1.9%.
