RTTNews - Business confidence in New Zealand improved further in May, with a net 2% of respondents expecting general business conditions to improve over the next 12 months compared to a net 15% who expected it to deteriorate in April, the latest survey from the National Bank showed Wednesday.

Regarding expectations on activity, a net 4% expect own activity to improve compared to a net 4% in April who expected activity levels to decrease over the next few months.

Meanwhile, other indicators including investments, profits, employment also showed an improvement from the previous survey in April.
