RTTNews - New Zealand's key export commodity prices rose 2.7% month-on-month in May, after a 2.5% rise in April, reports said citing the latest Commodity Price Index from the ANZ Bank.

The commodity prices increased for the third consecutive month in May, and was mainly driven by higher prices of wool. Annually, commodity prices dropped 28.1% compared to a 29.5% fall in the previous month.

In New Zealand dollars, the commodity price index declined 1.5% on a monthly basis in May.
