The New Zealand economy issued the consumer price index quarterly reading which came at 0.3% during the second quarter of the year, compared with a previous reading 0.4% in the first quarter, while the anticipations referred to 0.4%.

In the year to the March 2011 quarter, the New Zealand Consumer price index (CPI) increased to 4.5%, from the previous 4.0% during the fourth quarter of 2010, while the expectations estimated of 4.6%.
