The New Zealand economy issued its trade balance reading which rose to NZ$814 million in May, compared with previous NZ$656 million during April, which revised to NZ$665 million, while analyst's forecasts referred to NZ$850 million.

Moreover, New Zealand's imports inclined to NZ$3.39 billion in May, compared with previous NZ$3.31 billion in April, which revised to NZ$3.30 billion, while analyst's expectations referred to NZ$3.40 billion.

Also New Zealand's exports in May rose to NZ$4.20 billion, compared with prior reading in April NZ$3.97 billion, while the analyst's expectations estimated of NZ$4.21 billion.
