On Friday, PHP Company unit, Zend Technologies Inc. said it has release its new version of 1.8 Zend Framework for rapid application development.

The said Zend Framework 1.8’s is now available with automated and customizable creation of PHP-based web applications, which allows users to create their own standards and processes for specific business needs.

“With true customizable RAD programming for PHP as well as support for cloud-based development, Zend Framework is the premier choice for businesses ranging from small to very large who are wanting to develop and deploy web applications in the quickest way possible,” said Zeev Suraski, co-founder and chief technology officer at Zend Technologies.

The 1.8 version features Rapid application prototyping and is achieved with the Zend_Tool component, additionally it also has components that support Amazon Web Services S3 and EC2, and the new release uses the Zend_Cache ZF component for Zend Server's caching API to dramatically improve the performance of your PHP applications.

The new Zend Framework 1.8 is freely available for everyone supported by Zend Studio and Zend Server integration points for both development and deployment phases of the web application lifecycle.
