The LG Nexus 5 (2015) is receiving all the hype as Google is again pegged to release a smaller Nexus smartphone with lower price tag. The search engine giant has also partnered with the famous Chinese smartphone brand, Huawei, to rollout a Nexus 2015 phablet along with the LG Nexus 5 (2015) at the end of this month.

In the previous week, inexus.co had published several photos of the purported Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) phablet, The Verge reported. It showed the handset with a prominent camera bump. Now, fresh images of the TPU case of the Nexus 6 (2015) have been leaked by the popular leakster, Steve Hemmerstoffer through his @stagueve Twitter account.

Hemmerstoffer has revealed several details on the specifications of the Nexus 6 (2015) by Huawei through his other Twitter handle, @onleaks. The handset is codenamed as Angler and is expected to house a huge display of 5.7 inches with Quad HD resolution on a sleek metal unibody chassis. It dimensions measure 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6/8.5 mm.

The front side of the handset is equipped with dual stereo speaker and the on the bottom, it is enabled with a USB Type-C slot. Under its hood, it features the Snapdragon 810 chip along with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

It is expected to be available in two internal storage editions of 32 GB and 64 GB. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow will arrive preinstalled on the device.

The rear panel of the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) features a fingerprint scanner below the camera. The device will arrive with a 3,500 mAh battery. Speculations suggest that the LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be unveiled on Sept. 29. Therefore, the Huawei variant is also expected to get announced on the same day, GSM Arena reported.

The Motorola Nexus 6 from 2014 was heavily criticized for its hefty price tag and huge display of 5.96 inches. However, since Huawei is known for selling low priced flagships, the Nexus 6 (2015) that will feature a smaller display is expected to be priced between $450 and $550.
