Through eight weeks, the 2014 NFL season has been highly unpredictable. One division is comprised of all winning teams, while another has no teams above .500.

First place is up for grabs in the opening game of Week 9, even though both teams have losing records. The Carolina Panthers will host the New Orleans Saints on “Thursday Night Football.” The Saints are on the road and a half-game behind the Panthers, but they find themselves favored.

Week 9 features the largest point spread of the entire season. The winless Oakland Raiders are getting more than two touchdowns when they visit the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, who just broke a two-game losing streak. Only two of the Raiders’ seven defeats have come by 14 points or more.

The most unpredictable game on the schedule is a matchup between AFC North rivals. The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens in what has been deemed a tossup by the oddsmakers. When the two teams met in Baltimore earlier this year, the Ravens won by 20 points.

Other than the Week 3 Super Bowl rematch, the contest between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots might be the most anticipated game of the regular season. Denver has been so dominant that they are favored in New England, where the first-place Patriots haven’t lost since 2012. Last year, the Broncos jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead in New England, but the Patriots came back to win in overtime.

Four road teams are favored, including the visiting Indianapolis Colts on “Monday Night Football.” They are giving three points to the New York Giants, who have lost two consecutive games. The over/under of 51 points is the second-highest of the week.

Below are the complete betting lines for all the Week 9 games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
