There are numerous ways to bet on the NFL, aside from just picking a team to cover the point spread for an entire game. Oddsmakers also set betting odds for the first and second half of NFL games.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to get off to a quick start when they host the Los Angeles Rams. The defending NFC West champions are favored by eight points for the game over their division rivals, and the point spread for the first half is 6.5 points.

One other game remaining on the Week 4 schedule features a first-half betting line of more than a field goal. The Cleveland Browns are getting 4.5 points against the Washington Redskins, though they seem to be receiving a lot of support from the gambling public. Cleveland was a 9.5-point underdog for the whole game earlier in Week 4, but Washington is a 7.5-point favorite just before kickoff.

Two games feature first-half betting lines of less than a point. The point spread for the contest between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets is a pick'em. The Dallas Cowboys are 0.5-point favorites in the first two quarters on the road, and they are giving the San Francisco 49ers 1.5 points for the entire game.

The Cincinnati Bengals covered the first-half betting line, as well as the game’s point spread when they beat the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. The remaining prime-time games both have three-point first-half betting lines. The Pittsburgh Steelers are favored over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, and the New York Giants are underdogs against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night.
