With some of football’s best teams on a bye and a few matchups failing to include a playoff contender, Week 5 of the 2017 NFL season features mostly small betting lines. Only one team on the upcoming schedule is even favored by a touchdown, and three underdogs are getting more than a field goal.

The Dallas Cowboys are two-point favorites over the Green Bay Packers in the premier matchup of Week 5. Some other potentially intriguing matchups don’t feature betting odds at all because of uncertainties at quarterback, though point spreads will be available for every game in a few days.

The Oakland Raiders will be without Derek Carr, who has a fracture in his back, when they host the Baltimore Ravens. It’s unknown if Marcus Mariota will be able to start for the Tennessee Titans because the quarterback injured his hamstring in Houston. Sam Bradford has missed the last two weeks, and the Minnesota Vikings are hoping he can return on “Monday Night Football” when they visit the Chicago Bears.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the biggest favorites of the week, giving 8.5 points to the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville is coming off an overtime loss to the New York Jets, while Pittsburgh defeated the Baltimore Ravens handily in Week 4. Pittsburgh has a chance to start creating some separation between themselves and the rest of the AFC North.

The Los Angeles Rams have been one of the NFL’s biggest surprises, and they’ve got a chance to prove they should be considered the favorite in NFC West. Despite their one-game lead in the division, the betting odds indicate that the Seattle Seahawks are the better team. L.A. is less than a three-point favorite over Seattle at home in Week 5.

Three games feature a betting line of exactly 1.5 points, including the “Sunday Night Football” game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. Kansas City is the only remaining unbeaten team in the NFL, and they’ve covered the spread in all four games.

The Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos are idle after winning three of their first four games. Having split their first four games, the New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins have a bye, as well.
