NFL Expert Predictions 2017: Picks For Cowboys vs. Packers, Steelers vs. Chiefs, Other Divisional Playoff Games

Unlike last week, the second round of the 2017 NFL playoffs is expected to feature a few competitive games. Opinions appear to be split regarding which teams will emerge victorious in the Divisional Playoffs.

The toughest game to call might be Sunday’s early afternoon game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers. The betting line is up to 1.5 points, but it was listed as a pick’em when the matchup initially became official. Experts are picking both Kansas City and the visiting Steelers to advance to the AFC Championship Game.

There is no consensus for the weekend’s final game, even though the betting line is up to 4.5 points. Plenty of experts are predicting the Green Bay Packers to defeat the Dallas Cowboys, who are favored at home. The Packers are on a seven-game winning streak.

Experts are leaning towards the Atlanta Falcons in the weekend’s first game. Matt Ryan and Co. host the Seattle Seahawks, who are coming off a 20-point win over the Detroit Lions. The Seahawks did beat the Falcons by two points in Week 6, though the game was played at CenturyLink Field, where Seattle is 8-1 this season.

There is, however, one game that all of the experts agree on. No one is picking the Houston Texans to win on the road against the New England Patriots. New England defeated Houston by 27 points in Week 3, and the Patriots have had two weeks to prepare for the Texans and their anemic offense.
