NFL training camps in 2013 are almost set to get underway. The Dallas Cowboys will be the first team to report on Sunday, and all the rest will have begun to prepare for the season by July 28.

Even this late in the offseason, though, productive players remain on the market. Free agency began four months ago, but some players that were key contributors on 2012 playoff teams are still looking for contracts. Below are three of the top free agents that remain unsigned.

Vonta Leach

The Baltimore Ravens released the fullback in June, but it appears that the club could bring back Leach for the 2013 NFL season. ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reports that the Ravens are willing to sign him to a contract worth $2 million and another $1 million in incentives. Leach refused to sign the deal a month ago, but may have no choice but to accept it now. The Miami Dolphins had been pursuing him, but they won’t offer the nine-year veteran a deal before training camp, according to the Miami Herald. The New York Post reports that the Giants want to sign Leach, but don’t have enough cap room to do so.

Richard Seymour

After 12 years in the NFL, the defensive tackle isn’t as highly sought-after as he once was. Seymour, though, has made a lot of money over his career and isn’t concerned with signing a lucrative contract. He has stated that he’s looking to play with a team that has a chance to win a championship. Even if he misses a portion of training camp, Seymour could latch on with a winning team that needs help on the defensive line. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could emerge as a contender, who were near the bottom of the league with just 27 sacks in 2012. The Atlanta Falcons were 26th in the league with 29 sacks on the year, and may consider adding Seymour.

John Abraham

Abraham was a very productive member of the Falcons defensive line in 2012, accounting for more than one-third of the team’s sacks. Still, he remains a free agent in the middle of July. The defensive end may be waiting for a team to suffer a major injury, and give in to his contract demands. It's possible that Abraham could be inactive for several months before he signs a new deal.
