NHL: Boston Bruins Fan Takes Fight to Tampa Bay Mascot [VIDEO]
During Monday night's Lightning game, a Boston Bruins fan blew his lid after getting sprayed with silly string by the Tampa Bay Lightning mascot ThunderBug. Later the fan took the fight to the mascot and tackled him in the stands.
The fan, a large man sporting a Bruins Stanley Cup T-shirt, lost his temper after being sprayed with silly string and chased ThunderBug up the stairs in the stand. He tackled and yelled at the mascot in the heat of the moment and was later ejected from the arena by the officials. Bruins lost the game 5-3.
Just for Fun: ThunderBug's hobbies are shark fishing, trap shooting thrashers, wrestling Florida Panthers, hunting ducks and Carolina Hog tying, according to the Lightning Web site.
