Nick Gordon is continuing to tweet about Bobbi Kristina Brown as the aspiring singer approaches her 22nd birthday, still unconscious, on Wednesday. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston has been hospitalized since Jan. 31, when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. She remains on life support with no change in her condition.

“Your birthday is coming up @REALbkBrown (baby),” Gordon tweeted Monday. “You know I’m only staying strong for you out here.”

Gordon has been at odds with the Houston and Brown families since Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization. After finding suspicious injuries on the 21-year-old, police opened a criminal investigation into Gordon, whom they suspected of foul play. Sources told TMZ that Gordon and Bobbi Kristina have a “history of violence.” He’s reportedly “banned” from visiting his girlfriend in the hospital.

Gordon has been very vocal on Twitter, using the social media platform to share his frustration with Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown. He blamed Brown for being absent from his daughter’s life, and begged the family to allow Bobbi Kristina to “hear his voice.” Now he appears to be changing his tune. Ahead of his girlfriend’s birthday, Gordon posted the following message for Brown:

Brown has not responded to Gordon on Twitter. As of late February, the R&B singer’s lawyer, Chris Brown, told the media that Gordon has refused to cooperate and that there is “no reason” to allow him a hospital visit.

“It appears that Mr. Gordon did not want his understanding of the facts to be subject to the truthful examination of various experts or Bobby Brown himself,” Chris Brown stated. “Mr. Gordon has every right to remain silent and not share his version of events with Bobby Brown. … Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe.”
