Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon faced an intervention on the “Dr. Phil” show. In a preview for the show, which is set to air on CBS Wednesday, Gordon talks about how much he misses the late Whitney Houston and his hospitalized girlfriend, and adds he cannot stand her father Bobby Brown.

"I hate Bobby Brown! I miss Krissy and Whitney [Houston] so much!" he says during the 30-second trailer. Bobby Brown will not let his daughter’s lover visit her in the hospital, multiple reports have indicated.

Gordon, 22, appears intoxicated during the clip and Dr. Phil, whose name is Phil McGaw, tells Gordon he should seek treatment for substance abuse. "I want you to go straight to rehab,” the television host says in the video.

Next, Dr. Phil tells Gordon’s mother, who was taped for the intervention, he might die if he does not get help. "Your son left to his own devises will be dead inside a week."

Since the “Dr. Phil” show shared the promo video, it has received more than 50,000 views on YouTube. “Dr. Phil conducts an emotionally charged intervention with Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who is battling drug and alcohol addiction while struggling to come to terms with Bobbi Kristina’s near-drowning in January and the death of Whitney Houston three years ago,” the description of the video reads. “Will he accept Dr. Phil’s offer of help?”

Gordon was rumored to have entered rehab after the Dr. Phil intervention. He hasn’t sent any messages via social media since the episode was recorded. The last thing he wrote was a birthday message to Bobbi Kristina, who has remained hospitalized after she was found unconscious in a bathtub Jan. 31.

Leolah Brown, the aunt of Bobbi Kristina, pleaded with Dr. Phil not to air the episode. She claimed Gordon was under investigation for foul play.

“Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobby Kristina Brown,” Leolah wrote. “We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.”
