Nick Saban's Daughter Sued for Allegedly Beating a Sorority Sister

Alabama head coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen is being sued by one of her sorority sisters who claims she was attacked and beaten by Saban after a night of drinking.

The complaint, filed by Sarah Grimes a sorority sister of Saban, seeks an unspecified amount of damages totaling at least $10,000.

According to the complaint Saban beat Sarah Grimes, her sorority sister and fellow University of Alabama student after a night of drinking on campus.

The pair were participating in a power hour of drinking when a Facebook posting sparked off an altercation. The suit alleges that Grimes suffered a concussion, migraines, a deviated septum and suffered psychological symptoms.

The suit claims that Saban beat Grimes so badly she had to be taken to the hospital in the aftermath.

According to the suit, Grimes asked that criminal charges not be filed, but the school's judicial board did review the case. According to the filing, Saban pled guilty to that charge and was forced to undergo anger management and psychological testing.

The filing does not mention coach Saban or his wife Terry, and a lawyer for the family has said it is a personal matter between the young women.
