Rapper Nicki Minaj broke news of her engagement to Philadelphia-born rapper Robert Williams, or Meek Mill, on Wednesday, posting a photo of her large, 15-carat, heart-shaped engagement ring. Within 24 hours, her new fiancé was defending Minaj from professional boxer Floyd Mayweather’s girlfriend, Bad Medina, after she posted a photo of herself sporting the same engagement ring on Instagram – along with the words “like no other.”

“You the only one without no millions tho…be lucky Mayweather accepted Ya bum a--! Foh “black people s---,” Meek Mill posted in the comments section of Bad Medina’s photo.

Minaj hasn’t responded to Bad Medina’s comment, but more than 560,000 of her Instagram fans have liked the photo of her engagement ring.

Minaj, 32, was born Onika Tanya Maraj in Trinidad. She grew up in Jamaica, Queens, New York and released her debut album, “Pink Friday” in 2010. She is the only woman to be featured on the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list. Forbes reported that she earned $15 million between June 2013 to June 2014.
