Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild are expecting their first child. The couple are said to be “over the moon” with the happy news. Nicky is pregnant just six months after their lavish summer wedding at Kensington Palace. The couple are yet to confirm the news.

“Nicky is very excited to become a mom, she is feeling great! They’ve just begun telling close friends and family. Nicky and James are over the moon!” a source told People. The American hotel heiress and her British banker her husband James have not come out publicly with the news.

James and Nicky were spotted shopping at The Pottery Barn Kids at The Grove in Los Angeles recently as they are preparing for their new arrival. They tied the knot at The Orangery in Kensington Palace in July. The beautiful bride stunned in a bespoke Valentino ivory lace dress.

Her older sister Paris Hilton was her maid of honor at the wedding. The mom- to-be previously told BELLA magazine, she and James’ fairy tale romance began at a wedding. She added that she and her beau met in a very old-fashioned way at a wedding.

Nicky and James met at the 2011 nuptials of Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone. The 32-year-old recounted that James came up to her after the reception. She added that at that time she lived in Los Angeles and he in London and it was a long-distance relationship.

However, the couple made it work. Meanwhile, Paris has earlier described her sister and brother-in-law as the perfect couple. She told People that they were loyal towards each other and so much in love. In fact Paris thought that they were like a prince and princess and she felt that it was important to find someone trustworthy and loving to spend life.

James popped the question to Nicky during a romantic holiday in Lake Como in August 2014. He gave his fiancée a five-carat Asscher cut diamond ring.
