Nicole Kidman might press charges against freelance photographer Carl Wu, who accidently knocked down the Australian actress while she was walking toward the entrance of the Carlyle Hotel in New York on Thursday, according to reports.

Kidman was returning from Calvin Klein’s show for New York Fashion Week when the incident occurred, and eyewitnesses told the media that although Wu applied the brake as he rode toward Kidman, he couldn’t avoid the collision.

"His brakes on his bike completely gave out and he lost control," an eyewitness told Us Weekly.

Kidman had no visible injuries, but she wanted to press charges and police officials were called, who wrote Wu a ticket for riding his bike on the sidewalk.

"She looked hurt, but there wasn't any blood," the witness told Us Weekly. "She put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle."

Talking about the incident later that day, Kidman told E!Online that she was shaken up by the accident.

“It was awful, but I got back up... but there will be a time when someone does not," Kidman said. When asked if she would be pressing charges against Wu, Kidman replied, "I was shaken up and I'll deal with it later."

According to E!Online, 19-year-old Wu has also been cited for reckless driving and riding a bike without a helmet. Wu has had run-ins with other celebrities, and a Tumblr account called, "F**k You Carl Wu" has a detailed account of his failed attempts to get a photograph of Lady Gaga, which nearly got him killed.
