Nike’s largest shoe was made for an elephant with one leg shorter than the other legs. Heidi Burgett, PR director of Nike, tweeted this photo and explained the custom nature of shoe.
When asked about the missing Nike Swoosh, Burgett tweeted another photo and explained that the scraps of pink fabric were all that were left of the iconic Nike Swoosh. Unfortunately there isn’t more information about the elephant who received the shoe. The shoe was designed to lift up the elephant’s leg to match its longer legs.
Next time you think you have large feet, at least be thankful that you don’t need to custom order shoes like these.
