Unlike what many around the world believed, Osama Bin Laden may not have been suffering from a chronic kidney ailment which required frequent dialysis. Instead, new evidence shows, the terror mastermind was in rather good health and was using herbal Viagra to boost his masculine health.

Among his belongings recovered from his hideout in Pakistan’s Abottabad were herbal medicines including the Avena syrup, which is widely used for impotency treatment. The medicine, which is made of wild oats, is a libido booster that heightens sexual desire.

According to reports, Bin Laden's 27-year-old Yemeni wife told Pakistani interrogators that her husband was in good health, not frail or weak.

Apart from libido-enhancing drugs, Bin Laden was possibly fond of several other herbal cures, mainly those used in the treatment of high blood pressure, ulcers and nerve pain. Herbal preparations for these ailments were found from his residence. His Yemeni wife, Amal Al-Sadah, said Bin Laden 'believed in' his own medications.

She has reportedly told the interrogators that Bin Laden had recovered after two kidney surgeries. According to unconfirmed reports he developed serious kidney problems after an assassination attempt in Saudi Arabia. It was rumored that he was administered poison by a would-be assassin hired by Saudi Arabia in 1999.
