Unpacked Teaser: Mysterious Device
Could this be hinting at the Android Ice Cream Sandwich? IBTimes

With the official news of Apple's release of iPhone 4S sinking in, next Tuesday marks Samsung and Google's Unpacked press conference on their latest smartphones. Executives at Google are hinting at the anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android, but its arrival has yet to be disclosed.

It's believed that this next Android OS will combine the best features in the Gingerbread 2.3 (for smartphones) and Honeycomb 3.2 (for tablets) versions. This OS upgrade will work on the next generation of smartphones and tablets. The Ice Cream Sandwich will give developers the ease of writing one application that will run on Android phones and tablets. Currently, applications created for the Gingerbread or Honeycomb are not interchangeable. Thus, it's not just smartphone owners that are looking to the new OS.

A teaser video released on Wednesday suggests that a new device is on its way. Could it be Samsung's Nexus Prime? Footage shows a black curved device that looks like it could be a tablet or a smartphone. Some rumors are saying that Samsung might be releasing a combo where the phone can connect to the tablet. Still, rumors are just rumors, and we saw how that played out with the iPhone 5 craze.
