Noah Galloway suffered an injury during rehearsals for “Dancing with the Stars” with partner Sharna Burgess. The athlete was practicing a dance move on the floor when Burgess accidentally kicked him in the face and knocked out his tooth, a clip posted by TMZ showed.

Burgess slid over to Galloway to see the damage and when she discovered she had kicked out his tooth, she gasped and put her hands over her face. The athlete didn’t seem mad and instead smiled. He picked up the tooth and walked into the kitchen to wash his mouth where he spit blood into the sink. He turned to the camera and showed off his new toothless grin.

“Oh well, it’s not that bad,” Galloway said, continuing with his “no-excuse” attitude. “It’s no big deal, let’s go.”

Burgess admitted to the gaffe. “It’s true... I knocked out his tooth. Devastated by the whole thing! As if my man @Noah_Galloway hasn’t been through enough! #DWTS,” she wrote Monday before the show.

Then Galloway joked, “I didn’t know dancing was a contact sport.” The message was liked dozens of times by his 17,500 followers.

The athlete is the only star with two missing limbs to appear on “DWTS,” but that’s not that toughest obstacle. Instead, Galloway told Hollywood Life being away from his three children is what he struggles with most. “The kids completely understand though that this isn’t forever -- it’s just a short time,” he said. “But I still miss them and can’t wait until they can come back to the ballroom again. That was the coolest feeling ever to have your children cheering for you.”

Galloway had plenty of positive things to say when it comes to his fellow competitors like Rumor Willis, Nastia Liukin and Chris Soule. “The really awesome thing is that everyone is working so hard -- nobody in this cast wants to go home,” he said. “And that only makes each of us better each week.”
