Nokia today began a weeklong display of its latest imaging achievements at Photokina 2006. The event is to highlight "the benefits that mobility brings to imaging' a statement said. The exhibition contains all the latest Nokia Nseries multimedia computers.

Nokia announced that it would be again "showcasing its commitment to delivering the benefits of mobile imaging with industry leading solutions in the areas of capturing, editing, viewing, sharing, printing and storing.'

This will be shown by the latest connected multimedia cameras, the Nokia N93 and Nokia N73, which feature Carl Zeiss optics. There will also be a Nokia demonstration area which will display the latest in mobile imaging software.

Features include the ability to upload images directly from a handset to online blogs, editing or creating higher quality home movies, it is even possible for visitors to the event to analyse their golf swing on a multimedia computer using the Nokia N93 Golf Edition.

The head of Cameras Category, Multimedia, Nokia, Satu Ehrnrooth, said in a statement: Photokina 2006 showcases Nokia's leadership in providing innovative products and solutions that demonstrate the multiple opportunities of digital convergence.
