Telecom gear venture Nokia Siemens Networks said on Tuesday it sees significant business opportunity in the U.S. market despite merger of AT&T and T-Mobile.

We believe we have a significant opportunity to help American operators deal with the unique demands of smartphones and tablets. This deal does not diminish that belief, Nokia Siemens said in a statement.

Analysts have said Nokia Siemens could lose the most among telecom equipment suppliers when AT&T Inc buys for $39 billion for Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile USA.
