The 8th International Business Awards (IBA) scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi in October 2011, has announced the extension of the entries for this auspicious event, nominations are now opened until the 30th June 2011. Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Abu Dhabi, the event will be held for the first time in the UAE, the IBA is an annual award that receives hundreds of nominations from business leaders, private organizations and public sector from around the world every year. Establishments and individuals are recognized for their unique approach to overcome major challenges and achieve business excellence in different business categories.
The IBA's was created to honour and recognise achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people in all fields from all over the world. We are honoured to be invited to host the event in Abu Dhabi, making it the first time for the event to be hosted in the Middle East said Michael Gallagher, the President of the Stevie International Business Awards. The awards are a celebration of achievements of individuals and organizations that are making a positive difference for their customers, their shareholders, their employers, and their communities, continued Mr. Gallagher.
The IBA's recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace. Its categories include: Management Awards, Company of the Year Awards, Customer Service Awards, Human Resources Awards, Information Technology Awards, Marketing Awards, New Products Awards, Public Relations Awards, Businesswomen Awards, Website Awards, as well as other media awards. The Awards are expected to attract the participation of over 40 countries this year, and are open to all individuals, organizations, for profit and not-for-profit public and private institutions, as well as large corporations and small companies.
The winners of the International Business Awards will be chosen by a panel comprised of distinguished judges and advisors that features prominent and accomplished professionals from different countries. Individuals and groups have until the 30th of June, 2011 to present their nominations through the awards' website.
