Norman Reedus has been busy participating in various projects and events over the past weeks. He recently introduced Peter Fonda to the joys of having his own “The Walking Dead” weapon given the actor’s Daryl Dixon crossbow gift, as well as presenting a custom-made bike during New York City’s Fleet Week.

“The Walking Dead” star has been going on several motorcycle road trips across the U.S. for his upcoming new show titled “Ride with Norman Reedus.” During his various bike adventures, the actor gets the chance to meet motorbike lovers and other interesting people, as well as a few celebrities. One of these celebrities included “Easy Rider” star Peter Fonda. The two Hollywood actors recently trekked across Florida and at the end of the trip, Reedus decided to give Fonda a Daryl Dixon crossbow, Entertainment Weekly (EW) reported.

The moment happened while the two actors were enjoying drinks in an airport bar after the duo’s Florida bike ride. Reedus recounted to EW that the crossbow company that created his “The Walking Dead” character Daryl Dixon’s signature weapon had contacted him while they were at the airport. “The guys who own the crossbow company that I use on [The Walking Dead] text me and they’re like, ‘Hey, we have a new crossbow. We want to send you this crossbow.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m here with Peter Fonda, Can he have a crossbow?’” Reedus stated.

He has also revealed that since gifting Fonda with the crossbow, the actor has gained an appreciation for the said weapon. Reedus even shared a text message that Fonda sent him that listed potential enhancements he could make to the Daryl Dixon crossbow. “He’s talking about getting these laser sights and all these things and this stuff,” Reedus said.

In other news, “The Walking Dead” star recently appeared during the Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum block party held in New York, Huffington Post reported. During the event, Reedus presented a custom-made motorbike that was designed by Buck Wild and created by LA Speed Shop’s Chris Richardson. The bike was auctioned off during the event where the proceeds will go to The Aleethia Foundation that supports injured and sick servicemen.

Meanwhile, the actor’s new show “Ride with Norman Reedus” is set to premiere on June 12 on AMC, while “The Walking Dead” season 7 is expected to return to the small screens in October.
