RTTNews - Monday, the Statistics Norway announced that the twelve-month growth in the C2 credit indicator eased to 6.4% in July from 6.7% in June.

The decrease in credit indicator growth was mainly due to change in non-financial enterprises debt, the statistical office said. Non-financial enterprises' gross domestic debt increased 4.4% in July, slower than the 5.5% growth in the previous month.

The household gross domestic debt increased 6.5% in July, faster than the 6.4% growth in the preceding month.

Meanwhile, the growth rate based on the three-month moving average, the non-financial gross debt dropped to 2.4% in the May to July period compared to the previous three months. This was the lowest growth rate since September 2003.
