RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistics Norway said in a report that the M2 money supply increased 4% year-over-year in May, faster than the 1.9% growth in the previous month.
The M2 money supply amounted to NOK 1.504 billion in May, up from NOK 1. 484 billion in April. The money supply increase was the first time in four months.
Meanwhile, the non-financial enterprise money supply amounted to NOK 512 billion in May, larger than the NOK 503 billion in April.
Separately, the statistical office said, the credit indicator C2 was 7.5% annually in May, down from 8% in April.
