RTTNews - Friday, a report by Statistics Norway said the retail sales volume rose a seasonally adjusted 1.5% in April from the previous month. In March, retail sales were down 0.7%. Economists expected sales to rise 0.6%.

Year-on-year, retail sales volume declined an unadjusted 3.5% in April, while the sales value fell 1.3%. Economists expected the retail sales volume to fall 0.6%.
