RTTNews - Friday, a report by Statistics Norway said the trade surplus stood at NOK 24.4 billion in April, down from a surplus of NOK40.5 billion last year.

During the month, exports dropped 30.9% year-on-year to NOK57.5 billion, while imports fell 22.7% to NOK33.1 billion.

During the January-April period, the trade surplus decreased to NOK116.6 billion from NOK159.2 billion in the same period the previous year. Exports slipped 19.9% to NOK254.3 billion, while imports declined 13% to NOK137.7 billion from last year.
