Norwich Union has announced that it will be adding 29 funds to the Portfolio investment bond. Investors in Portfolio will now be able choose to invest in 139 funds from leading fund management groups.

The groups include names like Artemis, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and many others.

One of the added funds is the recently launched UK Special Situations and UK Growth and Value funds, which are managed by JP Morgan Asset Management and Schroders.

The director of investments at Norwich Union, Neil Davis said, "We have added to Portfolio some exciting funds from highly respected managers. This is, for example, the first time that Artemis' funds have been available but we have also included funds from a range of specialist sectors including natural resources, property, energy and emerging markets.'
