Ryan Guzman turned 29 on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and as expected, his fans flooded his social media accounts with birthday greetings. But aside from his legion of followers, the actor also received special birthday messages from a couple of his co-stars on his new TV series, “Notorious.”

“Happy birthday to the legendary @ryanAguzman! Enjoy it brotha!” Daniel Sunjata, who plays Jake Gregorian in the new crime and legal drama, wrote on Twitter.

Sepideh Moafi, on the other hand, took to Instagram to greet Guzman. “This one… Happiest of birthdays to this generous, talented, sweet, hilarious (I could go on) super human. So much love for you @ryanaguzman #rarebird #notorious,” Moafi, who plays Megan Byrd in the new ABC series, captioned a photo of herself and Guzman at the “Notorious” premiere after party at the 10e Restaurant on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.

Guzman, who portrays Ryan Mills in “Notorious,” expressed his gratitude for all the birthday love he received in a video clip he uploaded on Instagram.

“Thank you for all the love I’ve been gettin today. It’s a bit overwhelming and I’ll be rereading messages for the next week but I appreciate each and every person that wished me a happy birthday today,” read Guzman’s message that comes with the video.

As for how Guzman celebrated his birthday, the Texas-born actor went out for lunch with a few people near and dear to him.

Aside from Guzman, Sunjata and Moafi, “Notorious” also stars Piper Perabo as Julia George, Kate Jennings Grant as Louise Herrick, Kevin Zegers as Oscar Keaton, J. August Richards as Bradley and Aimee Teegarden as Ella Benjamin.
