An off-duty NYPD sergeant was arrested Sunday on charges for drunk driving, reports the New York Daily News.

Officer Kwando Karikari-Awere, 38, ran into a parked car at an intersection in the Bronx around 8:40 p.m. Sunday night. He was arrested after he refused to take a breathalizer test.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Karikari-Awere has since been suspended from the NYPD.
