The New Zealand dollar spiked higher against its major opponents on Monday morning in Asia. The kiwi climbed to a new multi-month high of 2.2477 against the euro and a 6-day high of 58.89 against the Japanese yen and 0.5864 versus the US dollar by 7:15 pm ET. The New Zealand dollar that closed last week's deals at 2.262 versus the euro, 0.5834 against the greenback and 58.54 against the yen is currently trading at 2.2512, 0.585 and 58.77, respectively.
